Welcome to V&R Imports web site

It is our belief that fine wine is not just a drink but a lifestyle. To this end, we not only offer one of the best, most diverse selections of fine wines and accessories in the Czech Republic, we also offer a large knowledge and information base for our clients to draw from in their continuing efforts to make the right choices for their lifestyle.

Being a small independent wine importer, distributor and retailer of fine wines affords us the ability to be very selective in our product line. Only the best from each category makes it to our shelves. Therefore, you will not find 15 different Cabernets or 12 different Rieslings in our shops, however, you can be very confident that whatever you choose, it will be of excellent quality and value. We offer wines from around the world in a wide price range as well as excellent quality accessories needed to complete the fine wine experience.
This web site will show you, in detail, our wide range of products for the wine lover in all of us and, where to purchase them. In addition, you will find information about all of our activities and events such as the very popular “Decanters Club” and wine tastings designed to inform and entertain all who attend.

Unfortunately we do not offer online sales of our products, however, we do offer our clients the opportunity to visit our shops and taste the wines by the glass first, before deciding to add them to your home collection.

In particular, our shop at Sokolovska 61 in Karlín has been designed to make everyone feel at home. Sit, sample our wines, and enjoy light canapes such as Italian bread sticks wrapped in prosciutto crudo, "knoflik" (Spanish herb toast with Italian pesto and Gorgonzola topped with a Spanish black olive), Caprese salad, or a selection of cheeses, each well suited to the wine of your choice.
